Research

A single letter, once cataloged and cross-referenced, can connect a decision made a hundred years ago to a program still running today. That’s the kind of connection our researchers spend most of their time chasing — not because the past is more interesting than the present, but because the two are rarely as separate as they seem.

Recent work linking early congregational records to present-day community programs has already turned up a few of these threads, and there are certainly more waiting to be found.
